The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 10 and 12 Board Results for 2025, expected between May 1 and May 10, 2025. Over 42 lakh students took the exams, with 24.12 lakh in Class 10 and 17.88 lakh in Class 12, from February 15 to April 4, 2025. Students can check their marks online using their roll number or name on official websites. Here’s how to see your scores and important details.
Steps to Check Results
Students can check their CBSE 2025 results in easy ways:
- Online via Official Websites: Go to results.cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in. Click “CBSE Class 10 Result 2025” or “CBSE Class 12 Result 2025.” Enter your roll number, birth date, school number, and admit card ID, then click submit to download your marks.
- Name-Wise Result: If you don’t have your roll number, visit cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/finder.html. Type your name, father’s name, mother’s name, school code, and birth date to find your roll number, then check your result.
- DigiLocker: See your digital marks at digilocker.gov.in using your roll number and a 6-digit PIN from your school. Save the marks for later.
- SMS Option: Send an SMS to 7738299899 in this format: “cbse10 ” or “cbse12 ” to get your subject marks.
Result Highlights
The 2025 CBSE exams had 84 subjects for Class 10 and 120 for Class 12, held at 7,842 centers. Last year, 93.60% of Class 10 students and 87.98% of Class 12 students passed, with girls doing better than boys. This year, Class 10 might pass over 93% because the papers were not too hard. You need 33% in each subject (including internal marks) to pass. CBSE doesn’t share a toppers list to keep stress low.
