CBSE Board Result 2025 Announced – Check Your 10th & 12th Marks Now

CBSE Class 10th and 12th Results 2025

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will likely announce the Class 10 and 12 Board Results for 2025 in early May, between May 1 and May 10, after exams from February 15 to April 4, 2025. Over 42 lakh students took part, with 24.12 lakh in Class 10 and 17.88 lakh in Class 12. Students can check their marks online using roll numbers, and both class results usually come out together. Here’s how to see your scores and important updates.

How to Check Your Results

Students can check their CBSE 2025 results in several easy ways to avoid website issues:

  • Visit results.cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in. Click “CBSE Class 10 Result 2025” or “CBSE Class 12 Result 2025.” Enter your roll number, birth date, school number, and admit card ID, then click submit to get your marks.
  • Use digilocker.gov.in with your roll number and a 6-digit PIN from your school to see digital marks.
  • Send an SMS to 7738299899 in this format: “cbse10 ” or “cbse12 ” to get results by text.
  • Use the UMANG app or call 24300699 (30 paise/minute) with your area code to hear results on the phone.

You must pick up original marksheets from your school, as online results are temporary.

Expected Pass Percentage

Last year, 93.60% of Class 10 students and 87.98% of Class 12 students passed, with girls doing better than boys. For 2025, Class 10 might pass over 93%, and Class 12 around 88%, because the exam papers were not too hard. You need 33% in each subject (including internal marks) to pass. CBSE may give 1–2 extra marks if you’re very close to passing. Exams had 84 subjects for Class 10 and 120 for Class 12, held at 7,842 centers.

No Official Toppers List

CBSE won’t share a toppers list for 2025, as it has since 2022, to reduce stress, as seen in posts on X. Top students (top 0.1% per subject) will get merit certificates. Last year, over 47,983 Class 10 students scored above 95%, and similar results are expected. Unofficial topper lists might show up online, but no names are confirmed yet.
